The Great Pokemon Journey Birthday Party, which I have been planning since last September when Orville turned nine, was a great success. Here are a few pictures.
Like all Pokemon Journeys taken by ten year olds, this one started with each child choosing his or her starting Pokemon. Each tissue paper ball contained a plushy Pokemon.

We went out for dinner afterward, and three other people had birthday’s, too. Orville met two of them.

There were about 14 all together, and I probably can’t recall them all off hand, but…
Orville, the birthday boy, got Riolu, which is his favorite. Juss got Aipom. Ro got Wobbuffet. Others included: Starly, Mantyke, Sneasel, Bonsly, Beazil (sp?), Manaphy, Mime Jr., Bedew, Zubat, and one whose name I cannot recall (Crogunk? something like that.) I think I’ve forgotten one.
