Happy Valentine’s Day!

Joy and love and Chocolate to you all!

A huge box of chocolate awaits me from my favorite chocolate store. Exactly what I want ever Valentine’s and seldom get. (Sadly, it’s now made in the USA and doesn’t taste quite the same as when it was imported, but it’s still yummy!)

And then we’re going to go see Oliver! with the kids!

I just wonder why I scheduled my appointment with my accountant to do my taxes for today, too. ;-)

        • They did, sigh.

I got the silver box, which was my all time favorite chocolate–but now it has that waxy taste American chocolate always has. I wish it were still possible to get the imported stuff.

          • Ack. Now that’s disappointing.

My friends gave me a very different chocolate treat when I GMed for them today–chocolate covered fortune cookies. It wasn’t spectacular, but it tasted ok.

      • That’s what I got my mother for Valentine’s Day. The silver heart of Lindt’s. She likes Lindt best.
        Kids…Reeses in a heart-shaped box
Husband…Just Nuts. Pot of Gold. It suits him.

Me, I got roses and Remember Wenn CDs.
Steve is serving tonight at the sweetheart dinner at church. It’s really for elderly widowed ladies who might be feeling a little blue on Valentine’s Day. All the men muster their most gallant selves for this.

      • The Lindt Outlet store in Potomic Mills.

I love the dark chocolate Lindt truffles filled with dark chocolate, and also the dark chocolate Lindt truffles filled w/mint.:D
