Upcoming Signing

John and I will be signing books together one weekend in September (We’ve talked about this for years, but this is the first time it will actually happen!)

Saturday, September 19th — Barnes and Nobles, MacArthur Center, Norfolk at 1:00

Sunday, September 20th — Barns and Nobles, Duke of Glouster Street (William and Mary) WIlliamsburg at 1:00

Should be fun!

    • It should be fun. Melissa (Pete’s wife) has kindly offered to watch the boys on Sat while we sign. I hope to see Bill and Dave, however briefly, as I think they have a thing that weekend, and I’d like the boys to see the ocean, which they have never seen.

      • That’s a good time of the year. The ocean is still warm but the crowds are gone.

I remember my inaugural trip to Virginia Beach. Mdm. Carbonelle talked me into attending my first science fiction convention there.
Wandering onto the nearly deserted sand at sunset, I happened upon grown men in full armor having at it in an amazing sword fight. Yes, they were part of the reenactment crew, but at that time it was all a delicious mystery to me.

  1. Sometime you must have a signing in Norfolk when I’m there visiting my sister.

Yes, obviously I think your signings should be scheduled strictly for my convenience, why?

  2. That’s awesome.

If I was still living on the East Coast, I would have strongly considered coming on down.

Alas for living in Flyover Country

  7. Ohio. I lived in the Virginia Beach area– Langley AFB– until the first gulf war, though. Williamsburg and Langley have been on my list of places to visit for a while now. I miss them both.
