Live Sighting!

Today, I got to watch my friend Bill make what might have been the very first book store purchase of Prospero Lost . While it is not officially out until tomorrow, it was already on the shelves in "New Fantasy and Science Fiction."

My son lackadaisically informed me that he had seen it there Saturday as well. When I asked why he had not mentioned this, he replied, "I thought you already knew."

  1. *laughs* Gotta love our kids!

Congratulations on launch day finally getting here! As my dear friend Faith Hunter always says, take yourself out for a celebratory something-or-other. You deserve it.

  2. pre-order

Amazon sent me an e-mail today that my pre-ordered copy has shipped! Goody! I’ll get to read it before the fall semester starts!

  5. Ha! Not today. Today, I spent all the money I’d saved for Montreal on the plumber.

But, on the good side, we have water again. That’s worth some kind of celebration. ;-)

  6. Of course, I’ve read it–and a very fine time I had too. :-) But just because I’ve read it doesn’t mean I can’t buy it. Gotta do my bit to support the series, after all. Hugs and cheers, Jean Marie

  7. That reminds me!

    First, congratulations!

Second, I must work on that residential and commercial licensed-hydromancer story you suggested at Balticon in 2008.

  8. Mine! mine! mine! & thank you

I bought mine yesterday and it was one of two left, that I could tell…& I hand-sold the other one before leaving the store. I hope they get more because all my friends are waiting to buy it as well.

Thanks for including me in the acknowledgment. That was very sweet of you.

  10. Thanks!

Bought it. Read it. Loved it. I am now disappointed to find out that this was JUST published… means I will have to wait months for Book 2. I guess I’ll just have to read it again, savor it a little more slowly. Thanks for writing such a good tale.

      Thanks so much!

Wish I could whisk it along more quickly, but it is, alas, out of my hands. The rest of the brothers show up in Book Two, and they are lots of fun, too!
