Just found out that in addition to always being big favorites in Finnland (they are the Finn Family Moomintrolls,) the Moomintrolls are apparently huge in Japan…thanks to a Moomintroll anime…and there’s even a Russian rock group called the Moomintrolls (or whatever the Russian equivolent of the name is.)
