Edgar Rice Burroughs

A kind reader took exception to my comment about Burroughs not being able to do anything else except write and sent me this fascinating link about Burrough’s life.

Apparently, he was quite successful in his early life and only got into trouble when he set off on his own. On the other hand, his deterimnation to stay on his own, even when he kept failing, reminds me of the good side of “not being able to do anything else” — that drive to find his own way and not turn back.

Worth taking a look at.
